The size of the opportunity
The UK government has a legal requirement for net zero greenhouse gas emissions. Energy used by UK homes accounts for 23% of these emissions, so by the end of 2025, all new builds must be all-electric according to the Future Homes Standard.
Cepro is at the forefront of this market shift. We’re aiming to meet the needs of 18% of the UK residential smart grid market by 2030.
There are 200,000 new homes being built in the UK every year, and the new-build smart grid market will rise to 50,000 homes per year by 2030. This will create a £300m market per year by 2030.
